My Story

My name is Sandra, and I’ve been broke my whole life. From a young age (when my childhood home was foreclosed on) to adult life (where I filed Bankruptcy, twice). I had never known what financial independence was like. I never knew what it was like to be able to travel without using credit cards, go to the grocery store without tallying up the items as I go to make sure my account had enough money, be able to throw a loved one a surprise party. And Lord help me when it comes to paying for a child’s wedding, college or retirement. Living paycheck to paycheck, all of these things just seemed out of reach. How can you save money, when you have no money left in the budget?

The answer is, you make more money. For years, I worked multiple jobs. Long days and long nights were required to make ends meet. I sacrificed my time away from family missing countless birthday parties, holidays, and social events in the name of holding it all together. That’s what strong women do. We find a way to hold it together.

I worked as an affiliate manager for a publishing company. I had personally met hundreds of people who were making money hand over fist online. I was the one who tracked their commissions, and I saw what was possible, but it would be years and years before I could see that it was possible for me too. I had no idea where to start, or how to do it. I would throw random things at the wall to see what would stick and nothing stuck ever. I signed up for countless e-books, watched more videos online than I care to admit but always landed back in the same spot. Broke, stressed and deflated.

Every book I downloaded promised I could do it in 2 weeks, and I fell for it every time. Clearly there was something wrong with me, right? Wrong! Making money online is like losing weight (an analogy I hate, but we all know what dieting is like). You can jump into it crazy, lose lots of weight but in 6 months, you find yourself right back where you started. Or, you can go slow. Make one change at a time, learn one skill at a time, put in the work and make the progress in a way you can maintain forever. The process is the result. When the process is slow, consistent and patient, the results are here to stay.
